We accept and proclaim the historic truths of the Christian faith including the following:

The Bible: We believe the entire Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. (Matthew 5:17-18, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Proverbs 30:5)

The One True God: We believe that there is one God, Who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 4:39, 2 Corinthians 1:19-22)

The Lord Jesus Christ: We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His triumphant return in power and glory. (John 1:1, John 1:14, Philippians 2:5-11, 1 Timothy 3:16)

Human Beings: We believe that human beings were created in the image of God, but subsequently fallen into sin, resulting in our spiritual death and the necessity of new birth for our salvation. (Genesis 1:26–28; Genesis 3:1–24; Romans 5:12; John 3:3–5

Salvation: We believe that salvation of a lost and sinful person results from God’s grace received through faith. It is not the result of our own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it. (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 10:9, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-13, 2 Timothy 3:15)

Eternal Life: We believe that those who trust in our Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sin for salvation will inherit eternal life with God. However, those who do not know God through obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ will inherit eternal separation from God. (John 3:16-18, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, 1 John 1:9)

Holy Spirit: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who lives with and within us so that we may live a godly life. (John 14:16-17, John 14:26)

The Church: We believe in one universal church which is comprised of all who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:5-6, 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, Galatians 6:9-10)

Marriage: We believe God’s design for sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within the context of marriage. God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6, Mark 10:6-9, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9)

Image Bearers: We believe that God created all human beings in His image, both male and female. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people; following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:13, Isaiah 49:1, Jeremiah 1:5, Matthew 22:37-39, Romans 12:20-21, Galatians 6:10)
